As we move into a new year, it’s a given that we’re starting to think of how we want to spend it. Many people make resolutions at the beginning of the year, but few of them stick to them for more than a month or two.
Instead of sharing the same old resolutions we make year after year, let’s look at some different ideas for new years resolutions for 2025.
Prioritize Using All-Natural Products

Small businesses have suffered more than ever in 2024, with many of them closing down because they were forced to close their doors for months at a time due to the pandemic.
By shopping small as much as possible in 2025, you’re going to be able to support those small businesses and the families behind them. While it’s convenient to shop Amazon or big box stores, even just committing to buying your bread at the local bakery, or going to the local bike shop for new tubes instead of ordering online can make a world of difference. Every dollar makes a difference to small businesses like ours.
We all know how stressful life can be, but we can reduce those stresses and the way we react to them by making more time for ourselves. Self-care is crucial to ensuring that your mental, physical, and emotional health is taken care of.
What self-care looks like to you may be different to someone else. While most people picture someone at a spa getting a relaxing facial done or at a salon getting their nails done, your self-care may look different. What makes you feel more balanced and helps to reduce your stress?
It could be a daily walk in nature or taking a full day to yourself every month to do whatever you want with no responsibilities. Allow Empty Space In Your Schedule
In such a busy world, we tend to try to do more constantly. It’s always a goal to fit more in, but what about stopping that habit this year? This year try a resolution of doing less. Let go of the things that aren’t absolutely required of you, don’t bring you joy, and don’t serve you.
If you are anything like me, you want something on the schedule in order to feel like the day isn't a waste so if, "doing nothing" is hard, try going to somewhere like Ticketmaster and looking for an event for the whole family. Emptying your schedule isn't always about having nothing planned but instead having the things that excite or better said, motivate you, planned.
Rather than scheduling out every hour of every day, allow yourself to just have empty space. Time to just be present in the moment, catch up on something you’ve been meaning to do, and just enjoy not feeling overextended and overwhelmed.

After a year where most of us were stuck at home worried, stressed out, and sometimes bored - let’s be encouraged to explore new things! That hobby you always wanted to take up? It’s time to do it.

New places you’ve wanted to explore? Explore them! Too often we get stuck in a routine that isn’t exactly the thrilling, adventurous life we set out to live. When something fun, new, or exciting crosses your mind, make note of it. Try to be more adventurous and get out of your comfort zone this year.
