Together or apart, both shea butter and oatmeal are great moisturizers. Shea butter is extracted from the nut of the African shea tree and is extremely moisturizing. It is rich in triglycerides and can help skin reduce moisture loss. Oats are naturally calming and are very effective for itchy, irritated skin. They also has natural lipids that can help lock moisture into the skin.
