Synthetic chemicals such as Triclosan, which is found in many body washes, can have detrimental effects to plant and animal life when it goes into the waterways and can’t be filtered out before moving into rivers and oceans.
These chemicals can change their biochemistry, cause cancer, and also build up in the animals that people consume causing humans to also ingest these toxic ingredients.
It seems like a no brainer to switch to a natural body wash if you have the option to do so. While there are some expensive options out there, there are also many more affordable options and when your health and the environment are on the line it’s crucial to seriously consider the switch.
