Vegan Cupuacu Coconut & Cream Whipped Body Butter
Cupuacu butter is naturally full of beneficial fatty acid's that are wonderful for dry, damaged or mature skin and hair. It absorbs into the skin fully and stays there while absorbing up to 440% of its weight in water and keeping a healthy moisture barrier in the skin. Jojoba helps calm irritated skin and the has vitamins that help reduce damaged skin. Both these natural ingredients are safe for whole body use and can even be used on the scalp and hair.
Cupuacu is naturally a grainy product and you may find un-whipped chunks that have a grainy texture in your body butter. This is normal. The only way to remove them is to melt the butter which destroys some of the amino acids which we DO NOT do. This product melts on contact, including any grains or chunks and absorbs fully into the skin. Cupuacu is STRONG smelling, and have a very rich natural smell of chocolate. This natural scent combined with the coconut gives it a very intense and deep natural scent. Some say it smells more of chocolate, others say more of coconut and someone even said it smelled like popcorn.
This version of our body butter is a vegan product and does not contain goat milk.
A few things to note about this product:
Body butter will melt in high temperatures and can become un-whipped. This will make the butter firmer, and the jar less filled. The product is still of the same high quality and can work just the same, but it won't be as light and airy and the jar will be less than full. We highly recommend keeping it in a cool, dark place and out of direct sunlight. We cannot offer refunds on products that become un-whipped, but we do our best to make sure your order goes right from us to the local post office. Many producers use unnecessary chemicals to keep body butter from melting, but we do not.
During warmer months we will ship our body butter in an insulated envelope with ice packs to help prevent it from melting. Please do not have us ship to a location where it will sit in a hot mailbox or on a hot porch as it may melt, even with ice packs. Please make sure you are home to receive the shipment if weather is hot. We currently cannot offer to reship any of our body butter products to customers who experience melting.
Body Butter can be re-whipped very easily and the end result will be a full size jar, as it was when shipped it to you. Simply remove the lid, microwave it until melted, then mix in a mixing bowl. Once it comes to room temp and solidifies, whip on high speed with a whipping attachment. Once whipped, use a spatula to put it back into the jar. We ask that customers work with us if these issues arise. As of now, we will not be able to issue refunds for melted body butter.
This product is preservative free and has only 4 simple, amazing ingredients.
